My first ever blog post!

Hello and welcome!

This is my very first blog, and I am both super excited and nervous about it! It is something that I have been wanting to do for a looooong time, for so long in fact that I actually wrote one up in my head a million times over. Funny, how now that I actually get to do it ,I am unsure as what to write. Nerves! Ok. So I guess I will start by telling you a little bit about me and my passon. My name is Andrea and I am a mama to 6 amazing children( 5 boys, and 1 girl) . My girl is the oldest,she is 20 years old and my kiddos are all 2 years apart except for the last 2 which are 3 years

 apart. I was a very busy person for a long while. But I have to tell you that I enjoyed that period of my life when the kids were all little. I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. But, you know in the mist of changing diapers ,taking the kids to the library and baking for school events I lost myself. But I like to think of it as a chapter in my life. And although I will always be a mom I feel like I kinda moved on to another chapter. In this chapter I found myself again. And not only did I find myself again I also found out that I have a passion!!!! Who knew? Certainly not me! There was always something in the way back trying to tell me, but it was so faint that it was hard to hear. But fast forward to this chapter I discovered that I like to paint and create. As a matter of fact I LOVE it. I can't stop. And how amazing that this passion became loud enough for me to pay attention to it now that my kids are older and more indepedant! And so I paint! It takes me to a whole other world. And I love every minute of it. I want to share what I do with others because it makes me so happy . And I think hey, maybe it will make them happy too! I love color! I use lots of it on a piece of furniture. I cant (well I could, but dont like to) use just one color. To me color has meaning, happiness! When people ask about my technique , I don't think I really have one. But if we gotta give it a name ,it is for sure Cuckoo Bannanas style. lol.I want to paint outside the lines each and everytime. I got to be me! Anyways,  two years ago I opened a shop in Westfield Mass where I have my painted pieces along with some other local artisans. Running a shop is great and also a lot of hard work. But I am really getting to know me and who I really am and what I am all about. Oh I could go on . But for today , this was I guess just a little intro. I really want to share this chapter with you. So I hope that you wil tag along.
